This is the new Nokia Kinect handset which Nokia plans to launch in 2012 in India. But somehow its screenshots have been leaked . Its main feature is that it stands itself when someone calls you. As you might notice, it has an unusual shape. Now let me tell you why, the reason for that "sexy back" is an electro-magnet capable to make the phone stand-up when someone is calling you and if you want to reject the call you just tap it an it will hang up and lay on its back.
Among other features, Nokia Kinect includes perfect balance in standby mode, “screen is raised from the surface”; because of its shape the phone is “ergonomically much better to hold than other phones” and it has a proximity sensor which “tells” your phone not to stand up when it’s placed in your pocket.
You can manually set up the phone to stand up if you would like to have a clock on your desk, “a digital photoframe, or to play some music.”
Another neat feature is the camera button, strategically placed so that you’ll “grip the phone like an SLR camera when taking a photo.”
Nokia Kinect is a great concept and we hope the real deal will feature WP7 or WP7.5 as an operating system and all the above mentioned features all together.
